This is not one of our thoroughly gone-over and/or restored vehicles—hopefully you can tell that from the price—but it is a running, driving, operating unit and likely one of the least expensive Chalet Blazers to come to market in this condition. For those unfamiliar, this was a GM-authorized project with fewer than 1,800 units produced. We don’t know the exact number, but with this example being equipped with the 400 engine option, we would estimate only a few hundred—or possibly fewer—remain today.

This unit still retains the front spare tire, fog lights, and side step running boards. It features a slide-in pop-up camper top complete with a stove, refrigerator, storage area, fold-out bed, and even the original table system still attached to the side of the storage compartment where it is properly strapped in place. It also includes a CB radio, along with all the correct paint and graphics. The vehicle remains completely original in both paint and interior.

Yes, it does have rust in the typical areas, but it has not been covered up or filled with Bondo—what you see is what you get. Nothing is hidden. It starts, runs, and drives. It does have era-correct tires that are aged and dry-rotted, but it has received a fresh battery and oil change. Someone could easily load this up and go have a ton of fun—whether for beach camping, off-grid adventures, or as a restoration and flip project, the possibilities are endless.
