1979 Ford F-250 Ranger Lariat Fummins 4x4. No, that’s not a misspelling! This is a Ford with a 12-valve Cummins and, best of all, a manual 5-speed transmission. This truck is built on a second-generation Dodge chassis that is completely rust-free. It features a 4-link lift kit, brand-new front suspension components, new tie rods, a fresh alignment, dual steering stabilizers, and 38-inch Super Swamper radial tires mounted on alloy wheels. This truck is rock-solid, wearing its original paint and patina, with virtually no rust other than surface rust and one small spot on the rear fender that is smaller than a dime. Inside, you’ll find the factory interior and seat, along with a retro radio. Under the hood is an aluminum radiator and intercooler, both cleanly mounted in the front grille, along with a perfectly era-correct bug shield. This truck is amazing to look at and even more fun to drive. The manual transmission, heavy-duty axles, and functional four-wheel drive make it an absolute blast. You could easily send this truck to the paint shop if you wanted a perfectly finished, shiny truck, but all the trim is already in place, and the glass is in excellent condition. The patina is what really draws attention to this one!
