Vehicle Description
1979 Ford F-250 Dentside Ranger Lariat 4x4. This unit is an Oregon West Coast survivor wearing its original paint and trim, and it is amazingly solid, as the photos will show. Powered by the 351M/400 V8 engine and paired with an automatic transmission, it features a solid front axle, eight-lug four-wheel drive, leaf-spring front suspension, a mild lift kit, and brand-new 33-inch Super Swamper tires mounted on 12-inch-wide Weld Stone Crusher wheels.
We have driven this truck a considerable amount and feel like we've brought it to a great stopping point while preserving its original look and solid mechanical integrity, and we've priced it accordingly. There is no rot or rust on this vehicle, which is the one thing you simply cannot duplicate or easily find on trucks like this. This F-250 needs nothing but a driver ready to jump in and enjoy it as it sits.
The windows are dark tinted, the fuel gauge works properly, and the truck runs, drives, and shifts very well. The air-conditioning compressor has been removed, but everything else appears to be complete. It features a spray-in bedliner, bed caps, old-school bed tie-downs, an exceptionally clean seat, embroidered floor mats protecting an extremely nice carpet, and a clean, well-preserved dash pad.
Like any classic truck, we could continue spending money upgrading and customizing it, but we believe this F-250 is a true gem just the way it is.
