2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab Long Bed 4x4 Diesel

Let’s start off by saying this truck is rusty—mainly in the bed. Yes, it has rust, and the driver’s seat has a hole in it. However, this is a 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel truck that runs and drives well and is a strong-running unit.

We actually considered keeping this truck for a Cummins swap project. You can do the math on the components quickly—the parts alone are worth more than the vehicle—but we hate to take apart a completely turnkey truck.

This Ram is equipped with a replacement Jasper transmission (approximately a $7,500 value), a recently replaced injection pump, new batteries, and a frame-mounted upgraded lift pump (approximately a $1,000 upgrade). It also features a Dynatrac Free-Spin front axle kit (approximately $4,500 installed retail), freshly replaced headlights, side steps, a bedliner, upgraded exhaust, floor-shift 4x4, upgraded gauges, and seating for six passengers.
