2010 Ford E250 Econoline Cargo Commercial Work Van. This van runs, drives, operates and has extremely good mileage and a clean body but has an intermittent engine noise. We have driven this van hundreds of miles the noise comes and goes and sounds like a lifter tapping when it happens. We were hoping it was a piece of carbon or a service would cure it and have even had it at the Ford dealership but without going internal they have no guess either. The van does not miss or operate any way negative other than noise. This would be perfect for storage or short distance running, heck may be perfect for running all the time but something is causing the noise. No metal in the oil, no contaminants this one has even stomped us. This would be a $12,000-13000 van without this issue easily low mileage and clean. Priced accordingly even if you replaced the whole engine but that is surely not necessary at this time.
